This contract is for interior designers who wish to have clear expectations with their clients. It protects you against work done by other subcontractors on the project, provides for hourly & markup fees, and shipping and receiving cost allocation, provides for creative discretion, and makes sure you’re not responsible for things that are out of your control. The contract allows you to photograph the space after you’ve designed it. You’re protected against chargeback requests and communications outside of business hours. This contract includes an outline and timeline of deliverables and payment, and spells out what happens in the case of client delay.
